The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has certified and evaluated several times OpenLimit’s signature application components in accordance with the ISO and IEC Standard 15408 – the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation EAL 4+. Together with Atos IT Solutions and the Federal Printing Office, OpenLimit won the tender from the Federal Ministry of the Interior for the development of the AusweisApp, the user software for the new German ID card. On behalf of the STORK consortium, OpenLimit SignCubes GmbH developed the pilot server for authentication with official European ID cards. New from OpenLimit is truedentity, the scalable two-factor authentication solution. The solution authenticates the user unambiguously and offers protection against phishing attacks as well as identity theft over the internet.
